Geography Curriculum Ambition: National

The teaching of Geography at Stafford reflects the intentions of the National Curriculum for Geography. It is our aim that all children meet or exceed the national expectation in Geography this is reflected in the cross-curricular, inclusive and engaging curriculum that is delivered.

Geography Curriculum Ambition: Stafford

Our curriculum provides a  high-quality geography education which inspires in pupils a curiosity and fascination about the world and its people that will remain with them for the rest of their lives. As pupils progress, their knowledge about the world grows, helping them to deepen their understanding of the interaction between physical and human processes, and of the formation and use of landscapes and environments. Geographical knowledge, understanding and skills provide the frameworks and approaches that explain how the Earth’s features at different scales are shaped, interconnected and change over time.

Our Vision: Be The Best We Can Be

We want our pupils to be confident, independent, high achieving learners who are prepared for the next stage of their education and can fully participate as global citizens.

We will achieve this by a commitment to providing an inclusive, safe and inspirational teaching and learning environment that promotes high expectations of all pupils.

We support one another to overcome challenges with confidence and resilience, showing respect for ourselves and each other. We celebrate hard work and effort and our successes are shared because we know that together we can achieve more.
